Drive your own classic car in Italy 10 Days - 9 Nights Guided Tour through Italian cities of ART.
Day 1: Alessandria - Santa Margherita di Ligure (Liguria Riviera)
Arrival in the morning in Alessandria (Italy), by car or train. We introduce ourselves to each other, before departing for Santa Margherita di Ligure, which is considered one of the most beautiful cities on the Liguria Coast. We will drive together along the Golf of Genoa - Levant Riviera to Margherita di Ligure.
Day 2: Margherita di Ligure - Portofino - San Frutuoso (Riviera Levante)
Breakfast. Free time to enjoy the city, the beach, or optional trip by boat to see Portofino’s Promontory and San Fruttuoso (National Park Portofiino) with it amazing Abbey San Fruttuoso from 11 century. Lunch - see food - in San Fruttuoso. In the late afternoon for who want we can drive till Camogli, for celebrate with entire village the famous festival of the Blessing of the Fish, when sardines are fried in a huge pan, 4m in diameter. The fish is distributed free to all-comers.
Day 3: Margherita di Ligure - Rapallo - La Spezia, Golfo dei Poeti - Portovenere - 5 Terre - (Riviera Levante)
After a relaxing breakfast we will drive to Rapallo, an elegant spa (watering place), situated on the Tigullio Golf, at the base of Portofino Promontory. We will continue our drive along the Gulf of Genoa - Levant Riviera to La Spezia Golf, often referred to as the “Gulf of poets”. This gulf is found and referred to in works by poets like Dante, Petrarca, Byron and Shelley. The way along the coast of Liguria Sea, offer dramatic scenery, rocky beaches, luxury villas and an infinite blue of the Mediterranean Sea.
Day 4: La Spezia - Castelnuovo di Garfagnana - Barga - Lucca
After breakfast we will begin the journey into the Toscana region and arrive at Lucca. The Toscana region is a culinary region with beautiful scenery, not much different from a Renaissance painting. On route to Lucca along the Serchio River, we will see: Massa Carrara, Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, Barga, the famous bridge Ponte Della Madalena and if the time allow, Borgo a Mazzano.
Day 5: Lucca - Pisa – Livorno with ’’Venezia Nuova’’
You will visit: Campo dei Miracoli, where you will see the Dome, the Baptistery and the famous Leaning Tower. Due to contact with great scholars from art and trade with Moorish Spain and North Africa, the Islamic influence is reflected in the grand architecture of the Campo dei Miracoli.
Day 6: Livorno - Volterra - Siena, city of ’’Palio’’ city of arts
Day 7: Siena - Florence, Etruscan remembers
Day 8: Florence, city of Italian Renaissance
Day 9: Florence – Bologna – Verona, the city of lovers (Romeo and Juliet)
Day 10: Verona – Hamburg by train
The last ”breakfast” in Italy. In the morning, free time for shopping or a leisure stroll, in the elegant city of Verona, in VENETO, in the Veneto Region. We say goodbye to Italy, its timeless landscapes, domes and medieval cities, which has defied time and has amazed generation after generation and us included. Ciao Italia, ’’La paese della dolce vita’’!
